Milk
Milk is a statistic in Cookie Clicker directly associated with the player's Achievements amount. Reaching Milk thresholds unlocks the Kitten series of upgrades; these greatly increase cookie output rate in direct correlation to the amount of Milk the player has. Milk is gained by unlocking normal (non-Shadow) Achievements at a rate of 4% milk per Achievement. Currently, the total number of normal achievements that count towards milk is 622 and the maximum attainable base Milk amount is 2,488%.
The Milk is represented by a wave-animated overlay at the bottom of the Big Cookie partition. The overlay gradually gains height as the Milk percentage increases. The milk changes color and name for every 25 Achievements, although this has no effect on cookie production. New Milk types and Kitten Upgrades have been introduced with new Achievements and the consequential higher possible Milk levels.
Appearance
As the player gains more and more (non-shadow) achievements, Milk will change its appearance and flavor. The current Milk flavor and rank are shown at the top of the Achievements section in Stats.

After purchasing the Classic dairy selection heavenly upgrade, the flavor of Milk can be changed using the "Milk selector" switch. However, this is only a cosmetic change, and does not affect the information shown in the stats menu. Additionally, there are 9 more types of Milk added by purchasing the Fanciful dairy selection, which introduce new colors and patterns to the milk. These additional types are listed below.

Each kitten upgrade's Milk Factor, multiplied by the Milk Percentage, provides a CpS production boost. These effects stack multiplicatively, with the Milk Percentage applied separately for each kitten upgrade. For example, say you have Kitten helpers, Kitten engineers, and 200% Milk (50 achievements). Kitten helpers multiplies production by 1 + 2 * 0.1 = 1.2, and Kitten engineers multiplies production by 1 + 2 * 0.15 = 1.3. Combined, these two multipliers will get you a total production multiplier of (1 + 2 * 0.1) * (1 + 2 * 0.15) = 1.2 * 1.3 = 1.56.
Note that this is not multiplying all the kitten factors by the milk percentage (which in this example would get you 2 * (1 + 0.1) * (1 + .15) = 2.53), and while the method used initially results in a lower milk percentage, the multiplier quickly becomes higher with the used method after the 5th kitten upgrade is purchased. With 350 achievements (1400% milk) and all regular kitten upgrades purchased, the CpS production boost is 2,693,564,425%. With all 622 achievements (2488% milk) as of v2.052 and all 17 kitten upgrades (including Fortune #103 and Kitten angels), the CpS production boost is 11,759,167,698,203%. Modifiers
There are modifiers that can increase the Milk Factor of your kitten upgrades.

These are multipliers to individual Milk Factors of each of your kitten upgrades and stack with each other multiplicatively. For example, if you have Kitten managers, the Milk Factor would be 0.2* 1.05 = 0.21 with one of the 1.05 modifiers (Santa upgrade, Breath of Milk aura, or Mokalsium in the Ruby slot). With three 1.05 modifiers, the effective Milk Factor would be 0.2 * 1.05^3 = 0.231525.

With Diamond Mokalsium, Santa's Milk and Cookies, Both Auras, all kitten upgrades (including Fortune #103 and Kitten angels), and all 622 achievements (2488% milk) as of v2.052, the total CpS multiplier would be 164,190,867,250,320%.
The effect of Garden plants on Milk percentage is much more complex. The power of Whiskerbloom can be increased by Nursetulip, but Nursetulip itself will reduce overall CpS. See the following examples for detailed discussion. All examples assume:
- All 622 achievements obtained, 2488% base milk% (maximum as v2.052)
- All kittens owned (including Fortune #103)
- All non-garden modifiers owned
- Aura: Breath of Milk only
- Mokalsium: Diamond slot
- All plants are mature
- The soil is clay.
Whiskerblooms
A full 6x6 plot of 36 Whiskerblooms has the modifier, fW, of 1 + 0.0025 * 36 = 1.09, and combining all other three non-garden multipliers will give the effective milk percentage:

Note that in 2.052, there is no effective way to utilize Whiskerblooms with Nursetulips under the previously stated assumptions. No matter where Nursetulips are placed, a full garden of Whiskerblooms will always lead to a greater CpS increase.
Graphs
The top image shows the cumulative multipliers for each kitten upgrade, assuming all the previous upgrades were purchased, based on the milk percentage. In each group of 3 lines, the bottom line is the base multiplier, the middle line is the multiplier with either Santa's milk and cookies or Breath of Milk, and the top line is the multiplier with both. In the endgame, with 500 or more achievements, each kitten upgrade (except Kitten angels) at least triples production.
Dunking the Cookie
The Cookie-dunker Achievement is gained by accumulating enough Milk and adjusting the game window in a way that the Big Cookie is overlaid by the Milk graphic on a sizeable area. This can be done by zooming in a lot, reducing the height of the window, or reducing the display area by pressing F12.
Toys

Milk toys are interactive, physics-enabled objects that can appear in the left panel when Cookie Clicker loads. Toys have a 1/10,000 (0.01%) chance of appearing when the game loads, making them a very rare occurence. They don't alter gameplay, but they have physics can be dragged around. Reloading the page will cause them to disappear.
Trivia
- In the Stats menu, where other upgrades say "purchased", the kitten upgrades all say "purrchased".
- Likewise, in the store, the kitten upgrades say "click to purrchase" instead of "click to purchase".
- In the source code of the game, Sanguine Milk is referred to as "blood milk", with the image called milkblood.png.
- This makes sense, as "sanguine" has the same etymology as "sang" which means "blood" in French, Orteil's native language.
